Trevor and Lily met in the early fall of 2019. Trevor was a sub for Lily’s coed softball team when she first caught his eye. Throughout the game Lily made several athletic plays and her carefree attitude/demeanor enticed Trevor to pursue her further. In today’s day and age what does one do to let another know that they are interested? Slide into Facebook DMs. Although it wasn’t the most tactful approach Trevor was successful in asking Lily out on their first date. The possibilities were endless; Dinner? Drinks? Maybe a beachside walk? Trevor decided to ask her out for drinks and then to go to a movie afterwards. Sadly, he did not know that she didn’t like movies of the scary variety (The Joker, perfect for a first date). Although the movie went terrible conversation was sparked after, over “4 beers” at Goat Hill Tavern, that would change the rest of their lives forever. After that night they were inseparable. Trevor spent many weekends driving up to Costa Mesa and Lily spent many driving to San Clemente just to spend time together. As their young love flourished many life changes came along as well. Lily moved back to San Clemente to be closer to family and Trevor. Lily adopted their first dog Maggie May who unbiasedly is the greatest dog ever. Trevor decided to pursue a career in firefighting after leaving his sales job. Lily also decided to follow her dreams to pursue a career as an interior designer. Many months and years went by of growing, learning and loving each other to get to where we are at present day. Trevor asked Lily to marry him Christmas Eve of 2024 after 5 years of being together. This was the most pivotal moment of the relationship. To commit yourself to one another for not only a lifetime but also an eternity. To be able to pick each other up when the other falls and to be there for each other no matter what challenge lies ahead. To love each other unconditionally in sickness and health. Trevor and Lily now reside in Dana Point California. Trevor is currently a Firefighter/Paramedic with San Bernardino County Fire Department. Lily is currently in school to get a degree in interior design with a scheduled graduation date of Summer 2026. They are to be wed at The Casino San Clemente on Saturday May 23rd, 2026.
